Michael Markarian started MB3 Consulting in 2019 after building his individual brand over the last three decades. He embodies the characteristics of respect and mentorship in a fast paced and elite industry. With a tailored solution that encapsulates the individual circumstances of each client, Michael is heavily invested in the well-being and continued success of each client he works with.
Michael Markarian
Founder & Principal
Michael has a strong passion for the entertainment and sports industries—targeting a strategic role in supporting musicians, athletes and entertainment professionals with a long-term focus on their success and security. He began his career on Wall Street before relocating to California. He spent more than three decades building his individual brand, which has more recently become MB3 Consulting, a boutique management firm that caters to higher profile clientele. With over 30 years of experience, Michael has established a steadfast set of values that have led to lasting partnerships in the industry. Those values of integrity, transparency and mutual respect are intrinsic to the MB3 philosophy.
As an extension of these values, Michael is also involved in various charities. He founded the LA2DC cross country cycling and running event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. He has also served on the Board at the Good Shepherd Shelter, a transitional shelter for mothers and children impacted by domestic violence.
He is an avid sports fan and with 20 marathons under his belt, he knows the value of self-discipline and training. Above all else, Michael is a dedicated family man. He and his wife of over 25 years, Lena, are proud parents to three amazing children, Brittany, Brianna and Brandon—all of whom he is immensely proud.

Jen Adams
Senior Account Manager
Jen has over 15 years of bookkeeping and finance experience. Prior to joining MB3, Jen was a Senior Account Manager and Document Specialist at a 401(k) Third-Party Administration firm where she worked for seven years managing multiple accounts and thousands of employee records. There she processed annual government tests and tax returns along with maintaining document compliance. Additionally, Jen owned a retail store where she managed the day-to-day operations, finances, and payroll. Jen takes immense pride in providing premier customer service to all her clients in every aspect of their accounts. Jen is someone who consistently approaches her work and clients with a positive attitude and a willingness to support. With her extensive background and curated skillset, she has developed knowledge in an assortment of industries including touring, artist management, retail, manufacturing, and retirement plans.
Jen has been married to her husband, Jason, for over 12 years and together they have four energetic and loving boys.

Jamie Sohbatian
Account Manager
Jamie has nearly a decade of experience in the Business Management industry. Prior to joining our firm, Jamie worked as an Assistant Bookkeeper and Account Manager with one of the Top 100 CPA Firms in the US and has additionally worked with two other notable business management firms. Her clients included high net worth individuals, actors, writers, producers, musicians, and athletes. Jamie is passionate about providing excellent client service and believes by having a strong and organized team, her clients will thrive.
Jamie and her husband enjoy sports, traveling, and spending time with their family and friends.

Cindy Bell
Account Manager
Cindy brings to the firm over 25 years of finance and client services experience. Cindy’s career has spanned various industries from advertising and media to manufacturing, event management and construction. Her approach to business management is customer focused, approachable, and communicative. After having run her own multi-location boutique fitness studio, Cindy understands the stress and anxiety that comes with running a business and is eager to support clients to assist in alleviating this. She has also served seven years in the Army Reserve as a Movements Coordinator; managing multi-faceted projects comes second nature to her.
Outside the office Cindy enjoys gardening, music and keeping up with her three children.

Eileen Esparrago
Account Manager/Group Medical & IFP
Prior to coming onboard at MB3, Eileen has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years where she managed individual and group plans with up to 150 participants. Eileen has extensive knowledge in the group medical field and assists with the plan management across all our client base. Eileen’s attention to detail and positive attitude translate to a luxury customer service experience for all our clients, across every touchpoint throughout every initiative. Eileen and Manny are proud parents to their three sons. Outside of work and family, they have a passion for travel.

Julie Burke
Staff Accountant
Julie has over 16 years of customer service and finance experience. Prior to joining MB3 in 2021, Julie was running her household and raising her five children full time. Previously, Julie worked as an Assistant Branch Manager at a well-established financial institution where she worked for nine years running the day-to-day operations, managing a staff of up to 10 employees, while ensuring proper regulatory compliance. Julie takes immense pride in providing exceptional customer service to all her clients. She consistently approaches her work, clients, and teammates with a supportive and positive attitude. With her vast background and skillset, Julie can complete tasks efficiently and timely without compromising quality or service. Julie is excited to be a part of the MB3 family and is looking forward to growing with the company.
As high school sweethearts, Julie and her husband have been together for over 20 years. Together they have a daughter and four boys, that they love dearly. Most weeknights and weekends are spent on the soccer field watching the kids’ practices or games.
